AdBrains provides AI-powered Google Ads automation software and support that enables businesses to optimise and automate their advertising campaigns. Our services are offered through our website adbrains.ai and our client portal.

When you subscribe to our services, visit our website or contact us, your personal data will be processed.   • Pages visited and click behaviour

When you use our client portal or dashboard:

  • Google Ads account data (via OAuth2 connection)
  • Campaign, keyword and conversion data
  • Usage data and login credentials

Purposes of processing

We process personal data for the following purposes:

  • Delivering and improving our services
  • Managing and optimising Google Ads campaigns on your behalf
  • Sending conversion data to Google Ads
  • Generating reports and analyses
  • Processing payments and invoicing
  • Communicating about your account and our services
  • Complying with legal obligations

Legal bases

We process your personal data on the following legal bases under the GDPR:

  • Performance of a contract: processing necessary to deliver our services to you.
  • Legitimate interest: processing required for our business operations, such as website analytics and security.

Google API Services — Limited Use

AdBrains' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other application adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Specifically:

  • We only use Google Ads data to provide the functionality you have requested.
  • We do not sell Google user data to third parties.
  • We do not use Google user data for advertising purposes.
  • Access to Google data is limited to what is strictly necessary for our service delivery.

Sharing with third parties

We only share your data with third parties when necessary for our service delivery:

  • Google: conversion data and campaign changes are sent via the official Google Ads API.
  • Anthropic: anonymised campaign data is processed via the Claude API for AI analyses.
  • Hosting providers: our servers are hosted with reliable providers.
  • Payment processors: we work with certified parties to process payments.

We never sell your data to third parties.

Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data. This includes encryption of sensitive data (such as OAuth tokens), secure server connections (HTTPS/TLS), two-factor authentication and strict access control.

Retention periods

We do not retain your personal data longer than necessary for the purposes for which it was collected. After termination of your account, your data will be deleted within 90 days, unless legal retention obligations require otherwise.

  • Account data: as long as your account is active, plus a maximum of 90 days after cancellation
  • Invoice data: 7 years (fiscal retention obligation)
  • Website visit data: maximum 26 months
  • Contact form data: maximum 12 months after last contact

Cookies

Our website uses cookies for the following purposes:

  • Functional cookies: necessary for the website to function, such as session and language preference cookies.
  • Analytical cookies: to gain insight into the use of our website. We use Google Analytics with anonymised IP addresses.
  • Conversion tracking cookies: our plugins place first-party cookies to store click identifiers (GCLID, gbraid, wbraid). These are used exclusively to correctly attribute conversions to Google Ads campaigns and are automatically deleted after 90 days.
